El primer día

This morning we met at the Club Covadonga and enjoyed a tour--it's enormous! I think that every sport, from ping pong to basketball, can be played there.  We also went to the colegio where we will have classes every day, participated in another icebreaker activity (it takes a while to learn 30 names!), and talked about our host families in small groups.
The attached photos are from the icebreaker and should give you an idea about what the classrooms look like.  

Tomorrow is a busy day! We'll have class in the morning, and then meet for an excursion to the Providencia, which is a beautiful park on the ocean.  After, we'll go to Bud's house because his family is graciously hosting a fourth of July celebration for us.
